David is one of the leading full-time professional golf coaches in the country. In addition to his position as Head Professional at The Warren, David has several prominent positions within the game including coaching roles for England Golf as a Regional U18 Coach for the West Midlands Boys, Lead Coach for the Essex Golf Union, and Tutor in coaching and sports science for the PGA.
David has a Masters Degree in Sports Coaching from the University of Birmingham and in 2014 was one of the first coaches in the UK to be awarded a UKCC Level 4 status for golf coaching.

Nick French
Assistant Professional
PGA Qualified, ASQ Level 2 Coach
Nick’s golfing journey began as a junior in Singapore, followed by intensive training at the renowned Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy in Florida from 2014 to 2015. Nick further honed his skills as a member of the Queens University of Charlotte golf team in North Carolina between 2015 and 2019. He then gained valuable industry experience working as an Assistant Professional at Quail Hollow Golf Club in North Carolina from 2019 to 2020. Nick has recently stepped into his new position as Senior Assistant Professional at The Warren.

Lizzie Hatch
Assistant Professional
PGA Registered, ASQ Level 1 Golf Coach
Lizzie first became part of The Warren as a cadet in 2011, and over the following years enjoyed notable achievements in county competitions. Following the completion of her degree in Accountancy and Finance, Lizzie went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW. In July 2024, she returned to The Warren in a new role as a PGA Assistant. Since her return, Lizzie has successfully completed her first year of the PGA Training Programme, attained her Level One Coaching Qualification, and has continued to enhance both her technical knowledge and coaching skills.

Sam Gemmell
Assistant Professional
PGA Registered, ASQ Level 1 Golf Coach
Sam Gemmell recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA (Hons) in Geography. He turned professional after being invited to compete in the prestigious King Hamad Trophy in Bahrain. Following a full schedule on the Clutch Pro Tour in 2025, Sam chose to focus his passion on playing competitively within the PGA East region and on the PGA national circuit. Sam is now coaching and eager to assist golfers in enhancing their game, both out on the course and within the practice area.
